Terms of service

1. Research use only

Every product we sell is supplied strictly for laboratory research use. Nothing we sell is a drug, a food, a cosmetic, a dietary supplement, or a medical device. Nothing we sell is approved or intended for human or veterinary use, for diagnosis, for treatment, or for consumption of any kind.

You must not administer our products to humans or animals, resell or repackage them for such use, or represent them as fit for it. This restriction is the basis on which we supply, and it survives delivery.

2. Who may order

Ordering is limited to research organisations, laboratories, and institutions, and to individuals purchasing on their behalf. By ordering you confirm that you are at least 21 years old, that you are legally able to enter this agreement, and that you or your organisation are qualified to handle research chemicals safely.

You are responsible for having the training, facilities, and any institutional oversight your work requires. We do not supply that judgement and cannot assess it for you.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for complying with every law and regulation that applies to you — including import, export, possession, handling, and disposal — in your jurisdiction and at your delivery address. You are responsible for handling material safely, for reading the safety data sheet supplied for it, and for storing it as its certificate of analysis specifies.

You confirm that the information you give us, including your delivery address and the purpose of your purchase, is accurate.

4. Eligibility screening

We screen orders against the delivery address when the order is placed, and again immediately before anything is dispatched. If a restriction applies, the order is held for review rather than shipped, and you are told. We may refuse or cancel any order, and we may limit quantities, at our discretion.

5. Products, availability, and price

Prices, descriptions, and availability may change without notice, and we may withdraw a product at any time. We take care over what appears on the site, but descriptions, images, and stock figures may contain errors — where they do, we may correct them and cancel any affected order, refunding anything already taken.

The price charged is the price shown at checkout for your order at the moment it is placed.

6. Batches, testing, and documentation

Batches are tested by an independent third-party laboratory using HPLC and mass spectrometry. Each batch’s certificate of analysis is published on our Test results page.

The batch you receive is recorded against your order at the moment stock is allocated, and it appears on your order — so you can identify the exact material you were sent and look up its certificate. Where an order line is filled from more than one batch, every batch is listed.

7. Orders, payment, and shipping

An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it after payment settles, not when it is submitted. Payment is handled by our payment provider; we do not receive or store your card or bank details.

Delivery estimates are estimates, counted in business days from dispatch, and are not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

8. Prohibited uses

You must not use this site or anything bought from it for any unlawful purpose; to administer to humans or animals; for human or veterinary diagnosis or treatment; for performance enhancement; for resale as a consumer product; to violate any regulation applying to you; or to interfere with the operation or security of the site.

We may terminate your access, and refuse future orders, if you do.

9. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly at support@lapispeptides.com if you believe it has been used without your permission.

10. Your submissions

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or other material, we may use it without restriction or payment. Do not send us anything you consider confidential or wish to be paid for.

11. Third-party links

Where we link to another site or service, we do not control it and are not responsible for its content, terms, or conduct.

12. Personal information

What we collect and how we use it is described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

13. No warranties

Except where the law does not permit it, products and this site are supplied “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of this site or of anything bought from it.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless [[ LEGAL ENTITY NAME — EDIT BEFORE LAUNCH ]], its officers, employees, and suppliers against any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of any product, or your breach of any law or regulation — including any claim arising from administering a product to a human or an animal.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access, and refuse to supply you, at any time and without notice, if you breach these terms. Obligations that by their nature should survive termination do so — including sections 1, 8, 14, and 15.

17. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision is found unenforceable, it is severed and the rest remains in force. These terms, together with our privacy policy, are the entire agreement between us about their subject matter.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [[ STATE — EDIT BEFORE LAUNCH ]], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in [[ STATE — EDIT BEFORE LAUNCH ]] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

19. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The version in force is the one published here, with the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site or place orders after a change means you accept it. The terms that apply to an order are the ones in force when it was placed.
